Carnwath people present and past may be interested in the snaps below. The well-known round water tank had been out of use for some years, and more recently was sold by West of Scotland Water as surplus to requirements. Two photos taken shortly after alterations started in July 2001:

Forward to June 2003 and the conversion is now complete. The house is popularly known as "Hagrid's Hut" and was recently featured in the Scottish Daily Express. At present on the market To Let or For Sale
